Introduction to Python

Introduction to Python with Artisan’s Asylum, class is intended for those who have no prior knowledge of the language where we will learn foundational programming in Python.

Due to its straightforward syntax, dynamic data typing and the availability of a multitude of add-on library modules, it is an excellent software platform for rapid software development. Students will learn the basic syntax of the language, storing data using variables, conditionals & loops, and controlling complex data structures.

The class will be meeting through Zoom, and will be taught using repl.it (online IDE). Each session will cover a few topics, and will be followed by optional practice problems that could be done in your own time for better understanding. At the end of the course, we will build a tic-tac-toe in the console to demonstrate our ability to facilitate control flow, conditionals, and store data using python!
