Make A Wooden Tray: A Couples & #Quarantinemates Class

This class is an opportunity for couples or housemates to take a break from COVID binge-watching of Netflix and make something elegant and useful in the Artisan’s Asylum’s woodshop. All classes are private experiences for couples.

Under the guidance of instructor Michael Goulde, you will make an 11 1/2 inch x 23 1/2 inch walnut and maple and serving tray. Useful for serving cheese, crackers, sliced veggies, and more, enjoy crafting a beautiful handmade kitchen item together. The tray can even be used as a trivet under a casserole.

Participants will use the table saw, disk sander, bandsaw, drill press and oscillating sander to create this useful hardwood tray. You will learn safe woodshop practices and proper machine etiquette.
